The Digital Futures Symposium is an annual conference co-sponsored by three premier business schools (Smith, DeGroote, and Ivey) that brings together leaders from academia, industry, and government to explore how digital technologies, data, and AI are transforming organizations, industries, leadership and society. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, the Symposium bridges research and practice by fostering human-centred, cross-sector collaboration focused on the strategic, responsible, and impactful adoption of emerging technologies. The Symposium serves as a platform for meaningful dialogue, practical insight, and the co-creation of innovative approaches to digital transformation.
This one-day conference, held on August 5, is designed for senior leaders and decision-makers who influence how technology and AI shape the future direction of their organizations. A Paper Development Workshop (offered through SIG DITE) will follow on August 6, bringing together emerging scholars and experienced mentors to collaboratively shape high-impact, forward-looking research that advances understanding of AI and its organizational and societal implications
