Webinar Series: Neuroscience and the Boardroom - Insights from Dr. Sukhvinder Obhi

This alumni webinar series, Neuroscience and the Boardroom: Insights from Dr. Sukhvinder Obhi, is designed to bridge the gap between cutting-edge neuroscience and practical board governance. Drawing on Dr. Obhi’s research in social neuroscience, the series will explore how power, empathy, and cognitive bias influence leadership behaviour and decision-making at the board level.

Through three focused sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the brain responds to authority, how empathy can be preserved in high-power roles, and how unconscious processes shape group dynamics.

A limited number of spaces are available for each session. Registration is first-come, first-served (no wait list). To cancel your registration, please email thedirectorscollege@mcmaster.ca.

No Refunds or Discounts for Webinar Sessions

Special emphasis will be placed on addressing “information gaps” and on the essential role of effective communication in avoiding misperceptions and misunderstandings of organizational dynamics.
